These words cause me some confusion. Any success we have tends to breed
arrogance and depress our humility. This does not mean we should not seek
success, but that we must learn how to be humble and eschew arrogance.

The same seems to me true of morals. We must attempt to follow a high
moral code. At the same time, I recognize that I will never make it
totally, but will keep trying and helping others to do likewise
nonetheless.

So, Donald, how does this square with what you have said? You seem to
imply that we should not attempt to follow a moral code. Please expand or
clarify.
