Hi there.

I am a 26-year-old new manager at NYNEX (a baby Bell) by trade.

In my own world, I'm a college student and voracious web-hound regarding
gathering the tools to lead an organizations in the near future. I've
followed this page for a week or so as well as other discussions along
these topics.

And I've decided to ask for your help.

I'm writing an Individually Guided Study (part of the beautiful learning
methods of the college I attend) on the topic of "Visionary Leadership." I
was looking for your insights on the following topics:

As leaders in companies that are embracing change (I hate those two words
when they're used hollow-ly), what sources did you use as your "toolbox?"

Where did you start the change process? (Please don't just answer "the
top.")

What were some of the less pleasant surprises of this change cycle?

Who do you look up to in the realm of leadership?

Read any good books or web pages lately?

I'd appreciate your help in this matter. Don't hesitate to email me
directly if you so desire. I'm certain that this isn't the typical weighty
requests of this page. Thanks again for your help.
