In LO10664 Michael McMaster hit upon a very important (implicit) point.

The pursuit of learning, as in creating a Learning Organization, must be
more than just a workplace-related activity. Learning is a lifelong
enterprise and so is creating the conditions wherein an organization can
learn and adapt and survive and thrive. This includes, IMHO, our personal
lives and families as well. If it is only something that takes place at
work I suspect that it will have difficulties in the workplace. This is
because the concepts and principles are nor exactly believed, they are an
experiment that can be reversed if things get too out of hand (change too
much).
