I used to ask people what are the most offensive things you can call a
manager (or an engineer). Being unhonest or treacherous may not be so bad,
depending on the motivation, and sometimes is useful to business. I then
argued that the worst offenses you can do to managers are to call them
poets or a philosophers. Of course, this is a joke but, effectively, most
of the times I heard people in business being called poets or
philosophers, it had a negative meaning. This is curious because,
seriously, poetry and philosophy are two of the most important things
human beings do!

Some years ago I met Jose Maria Menezes, a quality engineer at Varga (a
big brazilian car brakes manufacturer) who enjoyed making music with a
group of friends and had a project to make a musical show about quality
management. I invited him to present his work at a seminar in our center
and the result was a great success. He has started his own business with
that and his group has a tight schedule now!

Bringing together knowledge, art and business is certainly a big and
important challenge!
