Ben comments on Nathaniel Branden as an "objectivist philosopher" and
mentions his powerful work on "self esteem".

I recommended this "self esteem" work in my reading list and on this list.
It is both insightful and has powerful exercises to develop self esteem
and put it to work.

This work on self esteem, however, should not be connected to Rand nor
Objectivism. Rand denounced this work. While Branden learned much in his
years with Rand and that can be seen in the self esteem work, he also
learned much outside of her approach that can also be seen. His work is
not some "expression of Objectivism".
