I am trying to find ways that I can use systems as a base for inquiry
into non-profit orgs - yes, even churches, and then have a place to
rasie up the work and have you all critique it even - maybe this isn't
the place for that but it seems like one way to facilitate the network
of learning..

The challenge for me here is the word "use". Are we talking about
systems theory and practice or systems analysis theory and practice in
relation to LOs?? I suspect, both. Certainly one area which we might
look at, but which could be difficult to portray fully is how various
diagramming techniques (systems maps, multiple cause, sign graphs,
cognitve maps, rich pictures etc) help (or otherwise) us explore,
better understand and communicate the complexity of the systems we meet
or espouse. Is this what Bob was after - or have I been out in the sun
too long??
