I have to admit being entirely perplexed about these statements. I think
it is really lovely to think like that, that deep in our hearts we all
want to [fill in value], but haven't you met people who a) don't act
consistent with such a statement; or b) don't give any indication that
they even WANT to act consistent with such a statement?
I wish someone could explain. Is it the "deep in our hearts" part? What
is the thinking here?
