Replying to LO8258 --

This is in response to Jeff's invitation.

The answers to the following questions would make the empowerment
workshop valuable to me:

1.What provoked my management to think that I should get
empowered?

2.Is this an another trick to extract more work from me?

3.What really is Empowerment?

4 How does it help me grow in my creer?

5.How does an empowered work situation look like?

6.In the empowered environment how do people relate with one
another?
7.Who evaluates the performance? How? and When?

I think I have sufficiently confused you. But the fact is that we all
would face questions of this nature more in number which in my view
are very relevant and if answered well would help people
internalise the concept of EMPOWERMENT.

If you were attending a four hour workshop on the subject of empowerment
and empowering workers in all levels of an organization, What would make
the workshop valuable to you? What would you want covered and how would
you like it presented, small groups, individual exercises etc.?
