I hope I didn't convey the idea that what I described from my own books is
based in calculus. If so, that is not the case. I merely brought up the
calculus-continuum-math type of thing to illustrate that the culture of
technology and management science almost universally ignores the more
fundamental side which is the mathematics of logic that underlies all of
their stuff, and to which it is necessary to repair when things don't work
at the level where they play.
