Replying to R. Wentz Teaching Leadership LO7048

There can only be one leader of the teacher variety, everyone else will be
an associate/student. This is because in order to lead one must take
responsibility. A catalyst is always needed to create a reaction. A group
which has direction will always be lauched in that direction by a single
person. A group which has no clear direction has no leader.

Hitler was not a leader because the process he used to go first was not
teaching, it was verbal and physical violence. Justice Louis Brandeis
once said, "One can never be sure of the ends, political, social,
economic, ...lying and sneaking are always bad, no matter what the ends.
We must, and we can, be sure of the ethics of the means, if not the ends."

Very truly yours,
