In consideration of my post re: "breakthrough ideas often emerge as we
look for connections across traditional boundaries" Barry suggested
contacting. W.J.J. Gordon of Cambridge, Mass,president of SES Associates
and the "inventor" of the term "synectics" for "The Basic Course in
Synectics", by William J.J. Gordon and Tony Poze, Cambridge, Porpoise
Books, 1980. Their phone number is 617 868-5747. This is a great idea.
Also, you might want to ask about earlier books that they marketed to
schools for youngsters in the middle grades which forced kids to make
connections where none seemed apparent. The kids were much better than the
adults.
