Dear Friend,

I'm not entirely certain what you're asking for, but heres's an
*intuitive* response. I've been an advocate and practitioner of future
search conferences and Open Space technology, both of which are wonderful
tools for community building. I was myself involved in a search conference
whose theme was partnership between businesses and community
organizations. For more information, read Future Search by Marvin Weisbord
and Sandra Janoff, Discovering Common Ground, By Weisbord,
Berrett--Koehler publishers); Building the Collaborative Community by Ron
Lippitt and Eva Schindler-Rainman (Energize Press) and works by Fred
Emery, Merrelyn Emery on search conferences. Feel free to e-mail me if I
can be of futher assistance in your *search*!

I've recently become involved in one of Prince Charles' initiatives which
is intended to bring business and the community closer togethr. As a
result, I've seen first hand both the harrowing and totally rewarding
situations which people find themselves in.

Consequently, I re-read Jay Forrester's Counter-Intuitive Behaviour of
Social Systems article and much of what he said all those years ago still
seems to pertain.

Does anyone out there have some more recent personal experience i this
field? Or helpful articles / books etc I could obtain?
