Wanted to let you know that the Carnegie Bosch Institute (an Institute for
Applied Studies in International Management at Carnegie Mellon University)
is putting a one-week Executive Education session on "Managing
International Knowledge Workers in the Age of the Internet."

The targeted participants are key upper-level executives and strategic
thinkers from all business areas of an organization. (Pass on the word to
them as well ...). The program is in a Forum format: Lectures in the
morning (I am one of the faculty) and working groups each afternoon on a
topic that the groups choose themselves. The week results in a Forum
report, which the participants can take home as tangible deliverable from
the week.

The forum will be offered twice: March 3 - 8 in Palo Alto; March 10 - 15
in Pittsburgh. (They start on Sundays to form workgroups and to have them
choose their topic for the week). The cost of $3500 covers tuition,
course materials, and most meals.

Registration deadline is February 9. To register, send name, title,
company, address, phone, fax, and which Forum (Palo Alto or Pittsburgh)
you will be attending to: Dr. Heinz Schulte, Carnegie Bosch Institute,
Posner Hall #257, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA 15213-3890.
Phone: (412) 268-8714. FAX: (412) 268-7057 or e-mail:
hs32@andrew.cmu.edu.

If you have any questions other than about registration, please send me
e-mail directly (ghidding@andersen.com).

Maybe I'll even see you there.
