Re: your 6 rules for perf eval: I think you are right on target. Since our
inception, we have been operating on the principle of grow/GROW. As we
grow, we can help others grow, which means the company (or our associates,
family, friends, communities, etc.) GROW. It is a mutual responsibility
grow/help others grow/continue to GROW.

You say: f I understand correctly, the indicators are action-based, not
outcome based. IE, we agreed on certain actions, and if we carried those
out, then we succeed, even if it did not result in the expected outcomes.
However, part of the process is to conduct a clear assessment to learn why
the actions did or did not achieve expectations.

This is very important. grow/GROW is more than "being nice to people."
It's about having as many top-notch, talented, problem-solvers on the pay
roll as possible, which translates into time and $$.
