A really good book that I think is used at Harvard Business School, and
Stanford, is "The Pyramid Principle: Logic in Writing" by Barbara Minto.
It's sort of expensive - $85Can, but I think it's a great book because it
gives a structured way to learn to structure ideas in writing.

Of course, most of my writing is rambling so I wouldn't know, but
sometimes I have a few gems :) My question is, "how do you know when your
writing communicates well?" Maybe a good test is if people respond months
later to one of your postings - they thought your post was worth mulling
over because it had some structure to it and just needed time to digest
the ideas?
