Presentations]

Pegasus Communications, sponsors of the Systems Thinking in Action
Conference and the Power of Systems Thinking Conference is looking for
proposals for presentations for the two conferences.

The Power of Systems Thinking Conference is June 11-12 in Boston and
focuses on the theory and application of system dynamics tools and
methodology. This is a more advanced confernece, designed for people who
have a solid understanding of systems thinking and want to learn more
about computer modeling, simulation, and stocks and flows. We are looking
for solid case studies that show the tools of system dynamics being put to
use in organizations. The conference theme is "System Dynamics --
Redesigning Your Corporate Future." Keynote speakers include MIT Sloan
School Professor John Sterman, Barry Richmond of High Performance
Systems, and Arie deGeus, former executive vice president of The Royal
Dutch Shell Group.

The Systems Thinking in Action Conference is October 2-4 in San Francisco
and explores the theory and practice of learning organizations through the
application of the five disciplines. With this year's theme, "Learning
Organizations in Practice: The Art of the Possible" we revisit the
fundamental questions of purpose, principles and structures of learning
organizations, as well as explore the complex challenges facing those who
have been on the learning organization journey for some time. We are
looking for case studies of organizations that clearly demonstrate the
practice of building learning organizations. Keynote speakers will
include Peter Senge, author of The Fifth Discipline, Robert Fritz, author
of Creating and The Path of Least Resistance; Dee Hock, founder and CEO
Emeritus of Visa International, and Margaret Wheatley, author of
Leadership and the New Science.

If you would like to apply to present at either conference, please email
me at leanne@world.std.com with your snail mail address, phone, and fax

weeks.

If you have suggestions for possible presenters, please send those too.
