I'm reminded, John, of an anecdote someone told me about women and men who
lived on an isle in the South Pacific. The leader of the island was that
person who had more to give away thatn anyone else, and actually did so.
By continuously getting and giving, this person maintained his "power" as
leader. If my memory serves me, the throne was a dainty 50 gallon drum
washed ashore, no doubt, for that very purpose.
