Replying to LO2287 --

So if you had someone to stay, from another culture, in your bed and
breakfast, what would you ask, or what would you share, that would support
or provoke reflection on the difference between ways?

Of course, you'd mostly leave it to whatever happened, but I wonder, if
you listened in on those conversations for a few times, what kinds of
question would you hear and rehear? What kinds of stories?

To put this another way: let's say you are a busy person, but you know you
need time to absorb the new culture, and come to terms with the fit with
your own. You decide to break out of the fast lane and lay low for a few
days in the company of a retired senior manager, in the countryside
somewhere - what might be a simple agenda for your conversations?

I can give you one set of answers on site - sitting beside a dry lake
80kms by 15 kms, on a sheep station of 400,000 acres five hours north of
Perth, Western Australia, with a sky as big as one single simple thought.
Where would I start? Probably by going for a walk at down.
