Per your request, here are the references to the two books I mentioned:
_The Fifth Discipline Fieldbook: Strategies and Tools for Building a
Learning Organization_, P.M.Senge, C. Roberts, R.B. Ross, B.J. Smith, A.
Kleiner, Published 1994 (paperback) by Currency Doubleday
[organized around the five disciplines]
_Learning Organizations: Developing Cultures for Tomorrow's Workplace_,
edited by Sarita Chawla and
John Renesch, from New Leaders Press--order from Sarita 415/ 924-8327 or any
of the authors).
[organized around the three points of architecture: guiding ideas,
theory/tools, and infrastructure]
ENJOY THE READING. I know I am. When you apply something from one of
these books, send me a message. I am interested in hearing how "mere
mortals" apply these concepts in their businesses.

Margie, I would appreciate any more information on the two books you referred to in a recent post--the "Field Manual" and the book edited by Chawla and Renech. I wondered if the Field Manual was the one by Senge and others, _The Fifth Discipline Fieldbook_, or if there was another one out there you liked.
I'm sure I will not be the only one who would want to track down your suggested resources, so maybe you could post the info on the list itself....
Thanks, Tobin Quereau quereau@austin.cc.tx.us
