Replying to LO1583 --

Pete's communication offers an opportunity to share a radical idea which I
am playing with. That is that leadership will occur if a person (or a
group or team - to extend the distributed leadership idea) has _any_ four
or five principles, values or foci and continually acts and speaks from
those.

The ones that Pete put forward we might expect to be a "good" leader and
we could create others that would create "bad" leaders - or maybe the
resulting judgement of good or bad would be a matter of the content
supplied to the elements.

The point is that if leadership can be a _created_ emergent phenomenon,
then a set of four or five elements (call them "strange attractors"?)
maintained with no linearity and no emphasis on one over the others, will
produce the phenomenon of leadership.

Just something to play with.
