I agree. Very few, if any, resist change they believe to be to their
advantage. If we think of removing barriers, and/or ways to develop
customer advantages, then we evolve into facilitation and away from
manipulation. The outcomes can be dramatically different. Perhaps Argyris'
concepts of model I (single loop) and Model II (double loop) has some
