Charlie, everything what I try to say is not in opposition to, but
expanding the perspective from which you seem to operate.

It's a choice whether we look at organizations as problems to be solved or
mystery to be appreciated. In the trouble-shooting model we may help the
client learning to solve their problems; in the "stewarding the
self-organizing collective intelligence" model we help them grow a more
robust, more agile, and more responsive nervous system, the lack of which
is responsible for many of their problems, at the first place.
