Yes, many people begin to OWN their opinions as part of themselves. This
is a BIG inhibitor to change acceptance. Most will only adopt a different
potsure when forced through a paradigm shift by some external force.

There is a big risk that consensus approaches can lose accountability for
results. Keeping the team connected to continuing to get results is a major
challeng in any protracted change process. Many will relax after reaching
stage I milestones unless a constant urgent new goal is in front of them
