HAND-HELD BOX-TYPE STEREOSCOPE

German, 1st half 20th century, signed on the eyepiece frame "ZEISS IKON." Made of mahogany, 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 5 1/2", with a metal slide holder for 45 x 107mm glass stereo slides, a hinged door in back with frosted glass in it and a hinged mirrored door in the top, each of which can be opened to bring more illumination to the view, and rack & pinion focussing of the eyepieces. This attractive stereoscope is in very good overall condition.
