Returned to the land of opportunity for more knocking, finished Tibetan Trek, and came close to finishing Unbeaten Tracks in Japan, sweated in 89 degree heat, listened to Tim Wakefield take a no-hitter into the 9th inning with his knuckle ball fluttering and his new improved curve ball snapping, listened to Derek Lowe almost blow the save, reorganized huge numbers of books into their little modular categories yet my library still looks chaotic and I need more modules, read in The New Diary how this laundry list of what I did doesn't make an interesting diary entry, watched the 11:00 news to see replays of Wakefield's pitching and Troy O'Leary's glorious catch in the 8th, sneezed a lot from the dusty books, and turned on every fan and air conditioner in the house in hopes of making the climate conducive to sleep. |
