I feel much better today. Whatever it was must have been one of those 24-hour bugs. We didn't make it Bread and Roses. We celebrated Labor Day browsing at the Brown Bookstore and paying a quick visit to the cove.

BTW, the phrase "Bread and Roses" comes from the title of a poem written by James Oppenheim in 1912 about the Lawrence textile strike. Ten thousand woman and children marched against brutal working conditions, long hours and insufficient wages.
