The comfortable and gorgeous weather continues. I definitely feel better in cooler and less humid weather. A good day to prune the bushes. I hacked at the bittersweet vines and the raspberry bushes until I couldn't stand it anymore - itchy watery eyes and sneezing, not to mention having worked up a good sweat. The whole task seems endless. If it's this much trouble to manage an 8 foot by 10 foot yard, how would I ever handle a regulation size suburban lawn? I trolled around the web for awhile catching up on journal reading. I came across Mike McGuire's Northeast League journal Fargo entry about seeing lefthander Ila Borders pitch. For years now, my family and friends have heard me discourse on my prediction that the first woman to play in the men's Major Leagues will be a lefthanded pitcher. I bought a new camera. I browsed for books at the Barnes and Noble in downtown Lowell. Film at 11. |
