view north at low tide

Despite the dire weather predictions (cold, thunderstorms) it's a picture postcard kind of day with that deep blue sky, white puffy clouds, hot sun, loud birdsong. Low tide. Lots of people. Periwinkles making tracks. Lady in a round straw hat very unhappy. Debbie reports 3 exclosures up around nests, one more to do. Possibly a couple of more nests. The pairs whose nests were washed over ten days ago have renested on higher ground. Evidence of learning among piping plovers?
