The fold down table was new in August '95. Sheila & Nancy, visiting from Wisconsin, shared one of our first dinners on it.
Our cat loves the porch, but this is as far as he wants to venture into the great outdoors. He paces around the cat-walk at screen-level, or sometimes just sits alertly. Other times he scrambles literally up a screen after a moth.

I installed the dog before work one day in 1985. Our basement faces a small side street plyed by school children. When I got home from work the dog had been wounded with BB's! I touched him up with enamel, staked a "Beware of the people" sign in the nearby grass, & expressed distress with crutches, etc. as shown. I left the props up for a few days. That dog has never been molested since!
