The Trim Knob

The Trim Knob confused us for a while. It turned out that on our plane it needed adjusting. To our knowledge, the problem was corrected in new planes.

Later we realized this section's actions were not good enough. Go to the section called "Redo Trim Knob" to see what we FINALLY did!

The trim knob is hard to see in this photo. It is on the left about 1/3 of the way down from the top. The trim tube goes at a diagonal across the photo through the forward and rear "pre-fabricated" guides.

On our plane the pre-fabricated guides were at the wrong angle and we needed to shorten the trim tube, as it hit the 'floor'.

Earthstar corrected this problem.

This photo shows the flexible cable attached to the trim tube. We needed to purchase a longer flex cable because we shortened the trim tube.
