When it comes to aliens from outer-space, I do not know if
there are any. If there are aliens from outer-space, then I would refer to them
as people.
When it comes to angels and demons, I do not know if there
are any. If there are angels and demons, then I would consider them people.
When it comes to GOD, I know that there is one. And I consider
GOD to be a person.
PEOPLE
The body of persons who compose a community, race, or
nation.
PERSON
An individual human being.
HUMAN
Belonging to man or mankind; having the qualities of a man.
BEING
Existence; a creature.
According to the dictionary, people are more than one creature that
has the qualities of a man. ?? Which qualities? Physical
qualities? Thinking qualities? Emotional qualities?
Are Cats and
Dogs, people? Why not?
If aliens from outer-space, angels, and demons,
are people, then which qualities do they share with
man? Would one quality be self-aware thinking, and therefore having a "mind"?
What is a person? A person is a conscious being; a
being that is aware of it's own self-identity.
Hmmm.... maybe Cats are
people.
People can be good, bad or indifferent. Maybe alien beings and angelic
beings can also be good, bad, or indifferent. What about God? Does God care if
you comb your hair to the right or to the left? Could God be indifferent about
how you arrange your hair? Could God be "bad"? If, by definition, God created everything, and "bad" exists,
then where did "bad" come from, if not from God? The idea for "bad"
must have been in God's mind. Or... maybe we need to rethink what we mean by the
words "bad" or "evil"?
If aliens and angels are people, then they are no better, nor, no more
worse than any other people. They are not necessarily wiser, or nicer; more
ignorant, or more mean, than, any other people. There is no requirement to
worship aliens or angels as higher beings, nor to demean aliens or demons as
lesser beings. They are just people; like you, and like me.
