This area serves 2 purposes:

Another way of navigating the poem without using the scroll bar or the
is to select the numbered link to the left of the lines in the poem.
That should cause that line to move to the top of the poem window. If
you select the "v" link to the left of the numbered link when the line
is at the top of the display then the top line will be moved down a
