WinDev

I've never been to this conference, but if you can judge a conference by
the people listed as presenters, this should be wonderful. According to the site "This Conference is five days of pure learning, a technical intellectual pursuit of the latest developments in the Windows industry. No hype. No fluff. You learn
through intense technical sessions, live demos, and abundant sample code.
" Unlike most conferences, this has a track devoted to device driver writing.
Game Developer Conference
March 20-24, 2001, San Jose CA
Good for game device developers to talk to game developers to see what direction they are planning on going. Nothing on driver classes though.
