AIM AND SCOPE

CONCEPTS AND TRANSFORMATION is a problem-driven journal focused on the
role of social research in workplace reform and organizational renewal. It
presents new perspectives on the relationship between theory and practice
in social science. In action-oriented research, the relationship between
theory and practice - between the researcher and the other actors in the
field - is basically one of dialogue. CONCEPTS AND TRANSFORMATION
therefore not only includes views of the researcher and comments from the
theory of science and philosophy, but it also acts as a forum for the
practitioner. By placing action research and organizational renewal in an
interdependent context, CONCEPTS AND TRANSFORMATION positions itself
actively and centrally within the current debate about societal change.
CONCEPTS AND TRANSFORMATION is published in three issues per year, each
issue approximately 100 pp.
