I've been doing some research comparing language use among folk who use LO
as some form of self identifier. To the extent that members of the LO
list are interested the current version of the paper is at

The paper looks at some language use differences between postings to the
LO list, six months of journal articles, and a working paper archive.

I will be appreciative of comments, suggestions, etc.
