Lon, could you complete the analogy or model of how a target relates to
the LO we are all part of? For example, does the area of the rings relate
to the number of people who respond? or choose to respond? If an inner
circle exists, does it represent the center, and why? Why not the far
left or right? In a target based organizational model, does this mean that
management is the "inner circle" or the "in crowd"? Why are they special
or more capable than anyone else in the organization? Or on this list, if
an inner circle exists, why are the members of that circle any more
valuable or important than you or I? Or as Rol eluded to, how does
someone move into the "inner circle" if it does exist?

I am interested in a model of how an inner circle can exist and function
in the medium this list exists on: the internet. Also, please refer to my
other response to this same subject, which should get posted about the
same time as this message. The questions above will help me understand
the potential for inner circles to develop and affect intranets, and
subsequently operations internal to companies at the divisional,
departmental, and physical levels.
