I've been lurking on the list for several months and I would like to
introduce myself.

I work as an independent strategy consultant. More and more frequently, I
am applying LO principles with my clients. I work with them to enhance
their strategic thinking and then help them make their new insights
operational. Recently, I have been experimenting with "microworlds" and
"management flight simulators" to test LO strategies and theories.

Most of my direct professional experience comes from two service
businesses that I started and sold. I have worked to apply LO principles
in my business and like everyone I have had both my share of successes and
failures. I became interested in Learning organizations as a result of
reading Peter Senge's book in early 1991 and I have been hooked ever
since.

My formal education is in economics and marketing. I am interested in
learning about the ways that smaller businesses can apply LO principles
and technology. In particular, I am interested in exploring LO successes
on any scale and then applying that knowledge to smaller companies.

I am looking forward to becoming an active member of this exciting and
diverse community.
