Great Question.

One of the key ways we can learn is be exposing our mental mentals and
learning to understand the mental models of others. Therefore, when we
share ideas, the learning is enriched when we share not only the idea, but
our underlying assumptions and thought process for others to clearly see.
When we read the postings of others, we might ask specific questions to
get at the underlying assumptions and reasoning of the the posting.

It seems to me that practicing this simple core discipline of a learning
organization (Senge) is a very useful tool for us. At least it is for me,
when I have the discipline to remember.
