My comments to the learning vs creating discussion:
Personal observation: I began learning when I first opened my eyes on
this earth. Later I did some pretty creative things with my food like
drawing pictures on my high chair or occasionally nonviolently throwing
spoons full of Gerber's at the wall. I continue to learn and create.
Many people learn in different ways and have different types of
intelligence. Gardner's work on intelligence listed 7 forms of
intelligence ranging from math to music to understanding people and
situations. Possibly the other 90% of brain capacity, we search for could
be found in exploring these other forms of intelligence, as we take the
time to understand each other.
