I've seen more than one organization run amuck by speeding up their work
through technology without ever questioning whether what they was doing
was worthy of such expedition.
I think that has some relevance to the Technology and Values thread. An
organization must have deeply embedded values (just a few, I think) that
guide how they will use technology. Without such values, there is a real
risk the technology will destroy the organization!
