Hi Martha,
i'm a bit in a hurry, so this might be too short:

I see evolution as a process, as evolving, a set of processes like Weick's
changing <--> enacting <--> selection <--> retention, and sure, we're now
able to this faster than ever before. Mainly because we've switched from
DNA to language. A big issue here becomes 'intentional change' which i
think leads into trouble when one starts applying values and emotions. And
at the same time these are needed to keep the processes going.
But we

Are you aware of a science fiction movie which featured a book by friendly
aliens, helping us to make peace and prosper, called something like:
'create more with human beings'? It turned out to be a cooking book.
Take care with strangers,
Jan
