Many people ask me how to leave the list and re-join, so that mail
doesn't pile up in their in-box while they are away on a trip...

LEAVING AND RE-JOINING THE LEARNING-ORG LIST

The *first* step is to determine whether you are on the regular list or
the digest list. The subscriber base is kept separately, and if you send
your request for the wrong list, you'll get back "Sorry, you're not on
the list..."

To leave the REGULAR list send email to majordomo@world.std.com

The subject line is ignored. In the body of the message
unsubscribe learning-org
end

To come back, send the same message with
subscribe learning-org

...instead of unsubscribe.

If you're on the DIGEST list, then
learning-org-digest

...instead of learning-org (don't forget the hyphen before "digest"!)

To see what you've missed, scan the message archive with the Web, or
download a month's worth via ftp. Instructions are in the "Welcome"
message. Via the Web, the URL is <http://world.std.com/~lo> and the last
characters are "tilde-el-oh," not "hyphen-one-zero."

If you have not saved the original "Welcome" message or a copy of the
"Monthly" message, please save this for reference.

Problems? Please email your host Richard Karash <rkarash@karash.com>

Best wishes to everyone for the holiday season!
