Why do we want individuals to act independently? Do we want absolute
independence or a certain kind of independence? For instance what kind of
independence should an auditos have, what independence should a salesman
have, what independence should a service attendant have?

we assure they will not be under influences that will sacrifice their

Do the leaders and managers know what the individuals' values are? Are
they conscious of the organization's culture? Does the organization have
