I agree with you here. There are many more opportunities to meet people
on the internet (or through it), than with any of the other major devices
invented before (telegraph, telephone, radio, TV, etc.). The internet
allows us to interact and express ideas that would definitely attract the
attention of those who like you ideas. There have been people I have met
in conferences and in other forms of social gathering that have been
interested in my ideas. These encounters have been facilitated by the
internent interaction in lists such as this one.
