If you consider that the future is not something "out there waiting
to happen" and is not a matter of time

but rather

a field of possibility that is inherent in and connected to now - but
not able to be seen (only generated)

then words like missing, lacking, haven't achieved don't have much
meaning.

Why? Because no matter what we have achieved there will always be
this field.
