With regard to the factors that spawn creativity and/or learning:
"Insecurity" is merely a surrogate or label for a generic stress variable
which, if present, can lead to learning or creativity.
Learning takes work and is more apt to occur when there is inadequacy,
incompleteness, or dissatisfaction with the status quo or with what is
already known. In my published framework, we labelled this phenomenon
"Performance gap".
No Gap?, no motivation to do better or learn.
