The Dilbert thread continues to assume much of my attention as as I read
responses from numerous contributors. I am currently working with three
major energy organizations who are attempting to transition there culture
into one of participation. The Dilbert syndrom is quite apparent in each
of the organizations. I have attempted to use the cartoon as a tool to
engage in management dialogues and change tactics. Thanks to Scott, there
seems to be a clearer understanding among managers about leadership
behaviors and the perceptions of said behavior by the frontline.
