Call for Papers
Advanced Concepts Conference on Work Teams
1997 Poster Session Guidelines

The fifth annual University of North Texas Symposium on Work Teams
will be held in Dallas May 14-16, 1997. As part of our continuing
effort to improve our conferences and symposia we will be including
poster presentations on all facets of collaborative work. Ten
invited presentations will focus on product development teams. The
Poster Session offers researchers the opportunity to present their
work and findings in a format that allows conference participants
time to absorb, react, and discuss the data one-on-one with
individual presenters. Authors present their research in a visual
medium. Key elements from their work are displayed on one side of a
4' high by 8' wide standing corkboard. Conference attendees
circulate among the posters, stopping to discuss presentations of
particular interest with the authors.

POSTER SESSION GUIDELINES

1. Papers submitted for poster presentation should represent
completed work. Posters that discuss new findings are especially
encouraged. The specific presentation should not have been presented
elsewhere.

2. The poster title should indicate the result rather than the
experimental question.

3. Presentations may include: outline of work, simple tables, and
figures (graphics are encouraged).

4. Type size should be at least 1/4" for easy reading by those
circulating through the gallery. Titles should be 1/2" to 1".

5. Presenters are urged to bring 50 copies of their papers, or
poster material, to the meeting to share with participants.

6. Any topic relevant to work teams and other collaborative work
structures is welcome.
