Scott Adams is capturing the "story" most workers are telling themselves
about the current reality of organizational life. And as Jimmy Buffet
says in the song If We Couldn't Laugh We Would All Go Insane". I think it
essential to be able to laugh at it yes. And no, I don't see Scott Adams
as the one causing the problem - bad management is what keeps Scott in the
$S.
I do think his work can be used to show what NOT TO DO in management, and
the price you pay if you do.
