A new 'fact' somewhat relevant to this discussion.
In times of environmental stress (eg drought, flood, extreme cold, etc)
organisms have been shown to hybridize more easily, and to undergo genetic
mutation at a higher rate. Does this not imply some linkage between
stress and creativity?
